Contact messages
The contact form collects your name, email, subject, and message so BrooklineBusiness.com can respond to your inquiry. Messages are stored privately with this site and are not published. For deletion requests, email avyayajha@brooklinebusiness.com.
Business tools
The Business Lab calculators process entries and CSV data in your browser. Those business inputs are not uploaded or stored by the tools.
Site assistant
The prepared-answer site guide runs in your browser tab. When the AI mode is enabled, questions and recent chat messages are sent to OpenAI to generate answers. The site does not save chat content. A short-lived, anonymized daily request count helps limit abuse. Please do not share confidential business information in the chat; contact Avyaya directly instead.
Site traffic
This site counts page views and approximate unique browsers. It saves a random identifier in your browser and stores a hash of it for aggregate counts. It also records each page view’s time, page path, and the referring website domain when available. It does not store your name, IP address, search terms, or the full referring URL for traffic reporting. Clearing browser storage or using another browser can count you again. The traffic dashboard is available only to the site owner.
Survey and external resources
The business survey is hosted on Google Forms. External resources, including the survey, follow their respective providers’ privacy policies. Following a link takes you to that provider’s website.
Hosting
The hosting provider may process technical request information needed to operate and protect the site. This site does not add advertising trackers.
